Situational Leadership® - Introduction
Course Objectives:
This is an overview course on Situational Leadership®, one of the most respected and deployed
leadership models in business today. Based on carefully validated research, and proven in
the real-world dynamic of the workplace for more than 25 years, this course provides managers
and leaders with practical and effective leadership skills to lead others to high performance
success.
Who Should Attend:
Managers and other leaders who already possess leadership skills and experience, but who could
benefit from an understanding of how to identify and apply the most effective leadership style
in a given situation with their followers. Also beneficial as a refresher for those leaders
who currently use Situational Leadership in their leadership actions now.
Course Summary:
Taught by a Certified Situational Leadership instructor, this course provides participants
with a strong, practical working knowledge and understanding of Situational Leadership. Through
a combination of specially designed videos, simulations and role plays, as well as the participants'
own real-life challenges, the course translates this knowledge and understanding into practical
skills that the participants can use to successfully lead others in the workplace. Upon completion
of the course, the participants will be prepared to:

Assess their followers' level of readiness for a particular task.

Apply the principles of Situational Leadership to select the high-probability-of-success
leadership style.
